You provide the location, and we can train. Whether it's a local pool, lakefront, camp, or indoor space suitable for classroom components, we adapt our training to your environment so your team or group learns in the setting where they're most likely to respond.
We offer certified training that equips you with the tools to act, with engaging hands-on instruction for all experience levels.
Length: 10 hours
Pre-requisites: None (strong swimming ability recommended)
Training in the Bronze Star course focuses on improving the skill level of every candidate. Course content includes self-rescue skills, stroke technique, and basic rescue of others.
Length: 15 hours
Pre-requisites: 13 years of age or Bronze Star certification
Bronze Medallion training provides candidates with the skills necessary to keep themselves safe in, on, and around water, while also being able to rescue others in distress. Course content includes defences and releases, search skills, submerged victim recovery, and victim recognition.
Length: 20 hours
Pre-requisites: Bronze Medallion certification
Bronze Cross training is the Lifesaving Society's advanced water rescue certification, and the entry into being an assistant lifeguard. Candidates take on more responsibility for the safety of others and learn about leadership and teamwork. Course content includes communication, spinal injury management, team searches, and assistant lifeguard situations.
