Developed by the Lifesaving Society, this program ensures lifeguards are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and judgment to prevent incidents, recognize and respond to emergencies, and manage risks in a variety of aquatic environments.
Certifications are valid across the country, and transferable to any province or territory. National Lifeguards are water safety professionals who provide surveillance over thousands of aquatic facilities, and ensure the safety of patrons.
