High-quality swimming and water safety programs

Lifesaving Society instructor courses provide pools and waterfronts across Canada with the staff they need to run swimming and water safety programs in every season.

Instructors teach in several different streams, and candidates can specialize in the type of teaching they enjoy most, or in which their organization specializes.

These certifications are essential for teaching everything from learn-to-swim lessons to lifesaving and first aid courses. Instructor candidates are trained not only in the technical skills of swimming and rescue but also in teaching strategies, communication, and program delivery to ensure safe, engaging, and effective instruction for all ages and abilities.

If you need training for the staff of your aquatic centre, camp, or waterfront, we are here to help.
